Bill Brick

Bill is a passionate advocate for nature, exploring the wild since adolescence and captivated with the ocean since his first open-water dive over 30 years ago. He joined the IOFF’s Screening Committee in 2020.

He has held leadership positions in the corporate finance, technology, and solar energy sectors for 25 years, at times living and working in Latin America and Africa. Today, he helps ocean and climate tech companies scale carbon removal, renewable energy, and nature-positive regenerative solutions with strategy and business development services through his consulting firm, Headland Advisors. Bill is a competitive endurance athlete, a flailing surfer, and a former Kiva Microfinance Fellow serving in Uganda. He holds a UC California Naturalist certificate and has been a citizen science volunteer on NOAA’s Beach Watch since 2016.
